Lucky Larson's top pics for SURF!
1. Tavares Bay - Maui's North Shore near Paia. Great right break but not nearly as crowded as Ho'okipa.
2. Goat Island - Off the windward shore of Oahu  - A 5-minute paddle from the top of Hukilau Bay (Left break).
3. Honolua Bay - North of Kapalua on West Maui. - But the locals don't give us haole's much respect!
4. Laniupoko - Just south of Lahaina on West Maui - Great for beginners but watch out for vanna!
(nasty little urchins)  - Bring your mini-tanker or longboard, and maybe a pair of reef shoes!
5. Ho'okipa - pavillions (east side of the bay) - This is a beautiful right break but it gets CROWDED on weekends
   and after school!
